F1 is a high speed sport by nature and because of this there is a much higher risk of having an accident. They don’t happen often, but when they do the results are often spectacular collisions and pile ups, resulting in these amazing photographs. Luckily, there are a lot of safety measures put in place and the cars are specifically designed to help try and stop the drivers becoming seriously injured.
