For those who have some extra cash lying around, you can choose from the extravagant Gold, Rose Gold and Platinum versions of the S4 that can only come from GoldGenie. Your S4 will start off as either the black or white version of the S4 as the base, with the quad-core processor and 16GB storage intact. After GoldGenie has done its magic, your S4 will then be worth its weight in gold, literally!
Of course, your gold plated Galaxy S4 won’t come cheap. A Gold version S4 will set you back around $2,564, the Rose Gold at around $2,600 while the Platinum is a whopping $2,654. The sparkly smart phone would come is a special Limited edition collector’s box in a Cherry Oak finish. That’s definitely something extra that sets your handset apart from the rest and totally worth the hefty price tag.
GoldGenie isn’t the first company to offer discerning customers luxury smart phones and it’s certainly not the most expensive. TAG Heuer is known for its $4,000 customized handset and VERTU takes the cake for its $10,000 smart phones.
Unfortunately, it appears you’ll have to wait a while before splurging on the ridiculously posh GoldGenie Galaxy S4 as all its stocks have been sold out.
